Brandy Update Part 2

So I will start working on second brandy update that will include other fruit brandy's like cherry, apricot, peach etc. I cranked through my last one and got it out in 3 weeks but give me a few weeks on this one because I also want to do some quality control. I want to fix in this app: the cocktail recipe orders some, make the android app a little prettier and look better on a wide range of device (I tested it mostly on a pixel 2), replace a few older uglier pictures with prettier ones, take out any bugs, and also clean up my code on both a little too. It will add a little extra time but I should be fine.

• In October (the 1 year anniversary of me first releasing this app!) I plan on doing a big writing clean up of my descriptions and change the way the iOS version makes views. Most of my views for iOS are written out, this makes it do the whole weird iPhone screen on an iPad thing. I plan to convert them to .xib files, so it looks normal on an iPad and iPhone. Any who I doubt anyone is still reading this because I'm just rambling now and its stupid. bye.

Brandy Update

Howdy folks,

So the next plan is a brandy update! Actually it will be part 1 of a 2 part brandy update. part 1 will be apple, grape and Pisco brandy cocktails and part 2 will focus on those and cherry and apricot. Here is a list of the cocktails I will be adding:

Champs Elysees, corpse reviver #1, Pisco Punch, El Capitan, Chilcano, brandy daisy, avenue, the honeymoon, brandy crusta, calvados cocktail, east india cocktail, mint julep, japanese cocktail 1800, between the sheets, harvard, biter cocktail, bombay cocktail #2, apple jack cocktai, dream cocktail

I also have fixed a couple bugs where the app crashes if you try to tap on the empty "nothing in your cart cell". Oops. This is in both android and iOS. I also improved the search and added origin location information that is also searchable. So if you want to find all the cocktails that are known to have originated in New York, San Francisco, London, etc. you can.

Give me a little time to solidify my research, take pictures and write their history's. I don't think anyone actually reads this but if someday someone does, it does make me look more like I know what I'm doing.

iOS 2.1 and Android 1.1 released

Hey folks,

I just released iOS 2.1 and Android 1.1 versions of the software. Somehow in-between watching lots of One Piece and reading memes I was able to release an update that focused primarily on tequila cocktails.

Problem is there are not a lot of "vintage" tequila cocktails so I added a few really good modern ones to pad it out a bit. I also added iPhone X support and improved the search feature. I have wanted to add iPhone X support but was unable to because Xcode 9.0-9.3 just crashed my machine the moment I opened it. The latest version that recently came out works without crashing my machine so I have finally added support for iPhone X.
